We did a survey with existing customers and one of the questions we asked them was “Why do stay with us” and expected to get answers such as: Your prices are competitive; you help us reduce our costs; your staff are competent and friendly etc. We got all those but every one of the customers said the main reason was “we trust you”. It was touching and more importantly it revealed to us that we are trustworthy in an industry where deceptive behaviour and ‘dodginess’ is common place.
